On Thursday, July 28, FtF IAM facilitated a co-creation meeting for companies that expressed interest in the transition awards’ opportunity. The companies include Asigma Capital Advisory, a business advisory firm, and fintech companies Ensibuuko and Outbox Uganda Limited. The purpose of the co-creation meeting was to leverage the expertise and knowledge of the firms to inform the development of the Request for Application (RFA). The co-creation enabled the firms to have a clear understanding of the task and requirements thus fostering fair competition among the applicants.
The transitional awardees will scale FtF IAM’s efforts of improving aggregation, value addition, and marketing through Member Based Organizations (MBOs) in the Karamoja sub-region and refuge host communities. The awardees will also build the capacity of MBOs and local enterprises to transition from humanitarian to market systems development approaches.
