YEAR FOUR WORK PLANNING

YEAR FOUR WORK PLANNING

Last week, July 4-9, 2022, Feed the Future Uganda Inclusive Agricultural Markets (FtF IAM) Activity held its Year 4 annual work planning workshops in Fort Portal/ Kabarole district- Uganda. The team welcomed new staff members who have joined to support the TEC increase, which has a strong focus on the transition from humanitarian aid to development in resilience zones and a new office in Kotido district, in the Karamoja sub-region. Three team members from USAID participated in the full week, which included a day for pause and reflect sessions, technical planning sessions, and team building. The Year 4 work plan will focus on amplifying interventions that have already demonstrated potential to scale, such as last-mile Agri input agent models and quality certification for flour mills. Other interventions the team will need to adapt based on feedback from the team’s portfolio and the workshop discussions. Lastly, new interventions will be limited and will be driven mainly by the focus of the TEC increase, leveraging the Activity’s current portfolio and experience through Year 3.
